Plot :

 A military widow (Julie Benz), whose faith in Christmas has lapsed, rents an apartment to a handsome Army Captain (Michael Shanks), recovering from an injury in battle, and whose faith in Christmas is inspirational. As they team up to save the town’s military museum with a Christmas fundraising event, these two “wounded birds” find themselves falling in love -- and being healed by the magic of Christmas.

Résumé :

Après des années d’absence, Emma Reynolds revient fêter Noël dans sa ville natale, Oliver’s Well, avec son frère et sa sœur. En dehors de vingt-quatre heures pour l’enterrement de sa mère, cela fait des années qu’Emma n’est pas revenue dans la demeure familiale de Honeysuckle Lane. Les souvenirs ne tardent pas à refaire surface et la nostalgie s’empare très vite d’Emma, malgré un planning très chargé. Le frère d’Emma est en effet très strict, il ne faudra pas déroger aux traditions de Noël. Il y aura le concours de bonhomme de neige, la décoration du sapin de la ville, de leur propre sapin avec sa nièce et son neveu, la préparation du repas de Noël et la réception de Marie Bernadette, une amie de la famille. Emma devra par ailleurs résoudre plusieurs dilemmes : choisir entre son ex-fiancé Ian et son nouveau prétendant Morgan Shelby, l’antiquaire d’Oliver’s Well, accepter de reprendre le cabinet de son père ou sa promotion en tant qu’associée chez Huntley and Morrison à New York, et enfin trouver le temps de manger et dormir.

Storyline via Freeform: Kali Hawk (“New Girl”) stars as Jillian, a successful political consultant, confident in her ability to put a spin on anything whose next big project is the upcoming mayoral campaign for her boyfriend, George (Damon Dayoub, Freeform’s “Stitchers”). On the way to meet George’s family for the first time during the holidays, an unusual confrontation with a toy store Santa results in a drastic change in Jillian where she can’t stop herself from wildly spilling the truth. Ali Ghandour (Freeform’s “Alone Together”) costars as George’s brother Blake, who believes you should always be true to yourself but thinks Jillian just might be losing it.
