Résumé :

Willow Creek, en Alaska, traverse une dépression parce que la conserverie locale a arrêté mettant beaucoup de résidents sans emploi. Ray et Pete sont des frères ils conduisent des camions, tres différents l'un de l'autre, ils sont embauchés par un vieil ami pour apporter des cadeaux de Noël et une énorme surprise de la Californie ensoleillée jusqu'à sa ville natale. Sur le chemin, les frères et le fils Michael de Pete restent coincés dans une tempête de neige, mais finalement ils se réconcillient les uns avec les autres...

Plot :

Willow Creek, Alaska, is going through a depression because the local cannery has shut down putting many of the residents out of work. Ray and Pete are truck-driving brothers, different as day and night, who are hired by an old friend to bring Christmas presents and one huge surprise from sunny California up to his home town. Along the way, the brothers and Pete's son Michael argue and get stuck in a blizzard, but finally reconcile with each other.

Plot :

Drifting from place to place, Hughes finds himself in his hometown of Salt Lake City on Christmas. He hopes to close old wounds and be reunited with his son, and get to know the grandchildren he has never met. But his son, still resenting the fact that his father ran out on his family 25 years earlier, gives his father only one day with his grandkids; after that, he's expected to leave and never come back. —Ricci Bilotta
